Dan London - Director of Online Marketing, ShareFile.com
Dan London graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill. His professional career after graduation includes a stint as an
online marketing associate for LastAvailable.com during the wrong side
of the Dot Com explosion in the early 2000s. He spent time with local
Durham ad agency Clean Design as a copywriter and wrote web and print
copy for numerous companies such as IBM, John Deere and Red Hat. After
a short time as a 6th grade teacher, Dan joined search marketing firm
Websourced.com as an SEO Copywriter and quickly began taking on top
clients such as Lowe’s, Black and Decker and Citi Financial. He
advanced to the Paid Search team and began handling some of the
high-profile accounts such as Motorola and Interstate Battery.
In 2006 Dan joined the world’s leading self-publisher Lulu.com as the
Director of Search Engine Marketing. In this role Dan has taken on
both natural and paid search as well as banner advertising. Dan has
been able to increase the traffic to Lulu nearly 500% in his time at
Lulu and helped increase revenue significantly each year. He was a
featured Speaker at the Google AdWords Client Forum in October 2008 at
Google headquarters. Dan recently spoke at Meet the New Media in
Raleigh and the 2009 Social Media Business Forum in Durham, NC.
In August of 2009, Dan joined
